The temperature gradually decreases in winter, and when using construction machinery, various faults are prone to occur in the oil, gas, and cooling pipelines due to the cold weather. In order to ensure that the working performance of the equipment is not affected, we must artificially create a good environment suitable for electrical equipment, ensure its normal operation, better serve production, and ensure safe and unimpeded production.

Now let me share with you several faults and solutions that occur during the use of construction machinery:
Electric boxes are prone to condensation and frost formation in low temperature environments;
The quality of the glued workpiece is reduced.
Solution: The temperature of the production environment should be kept above 5 degrees. For edge sealing and thermoplastic process workshops, it is recommended to have a temperature above 15 degrees. The temperature of the environment for storing production raw materials should also be noted to prevent material denaturation.
Mobile electrical cables, cables moving on equipment drag chains, or plastic and rubber vacuum pipes become hard and brittle at low temperatures, which can easily break and cause leakage.
Solution: Strengthen inspection, check if the plastic and rubber of the vacuum pipeline are deformed or leaking, and seal the areas where dew and frost have been found.
The capacitive screen, LCD screen, etc. of the equipment are prone to malfunction and incorrect operation at low temperatures;
Programmable controllers on the device (such as indoor level PLCs and their modules) can easily cause malfunction, alarms, or module damage when operating at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius;
Industrial control computers and other devices on the device may experience system restart in low temperature environments, damage the equipment, and cause product quality issues.
Solution: In winter, after starting the main power supply of the equipment for 5 minutes, restart the control power supply to fully utilize the air conditioning inside the electrical box.
Water accumulation in the filter in the air source treatment element can easily cause icing and cracking of the filter;
The internal moisture and freezing of the cylinder and solenoid valve cause work delay;
The internal storage of water in various pipeline pressure gauges, flow meters, drain valve groups, etc., can cause swelling, damage, water leakage, air leakage, and damage to seals.
Solution: Check the filtration and drying system of the air source to prevent moisture from entering the equipment's air circuit system. Strengthen functional testing of the pneumatic three components to avoid failure.
The water in the water-cooled spindle or vacuum pump freezes and cracks the cooling pipe.
Solution: Spindles or vacuum pumps cooled by water should be added with designated antifreeze as required to avoid freezing and cracking of the cooling pipes. If not used for a long time during holidays, the internal water should be drained before the holiday.

The central lubrication system may generate an error alarm due to the increase in oil viscosity due to low ambient temperature. The original value needs to be recorded before necessary adjustments are made. When the ambient temperature increases, restore to the original value.
